Teen Council is a 4-H leadership organization for youth in grades 7–12.

About 4-H Teen Council

The Lancaster County 4-H Teen Council is a leadership organization for youth in grades 7-12. Members are involved in several leadership activities such as organizing the annual 4th & 5th Grade Lock-In (View photos on Flickr). Teens also participate in community service projects.

2015-16 Officers are:

  • President: Sheridan Swotek
  • Vice President: Michael Zavodny
  • Secretary: Abby Babcock
  • Treasurer: Bailee Gunnerson
  • Historians: Delaney Meyer, Anna Sump, Addison Wanser

Other members include: John Boesen, Hanna Brandt, Thomas Cook, Peggy DeLancey, Valerie Gable, Chloe Hammond, Abby Haszard, Emma Haszard, Cassie Merwick, Justin Muehling, Ethan Schmidt, David Swotek, John Swotek, and Bethany Wachter.

Meetings are held the second Sunday of each month at 3 p.m. at the Lancaster Extension Education Center. New members are always welcome! For more information or to join, contact Tracy Anderson.
